Wondering who’s backstage at Sir Sidney’s Circus? The answer is Kate Klise and M. Sarah Klise. We’re two sisters who like to write (Kate) and draw (Sarah). We’ve been making books together since we were little kids.

Are you disappointed that we’re not mice? Don’t be! The truth is, we’re a lot like Bert and Gert, the mice in The Show Must Go On!  For one thing our last name rhymes with mice. But there are lots of other things we have in common.
